Adam Oehlers

Adam has always loved getting lost in a story and he tries to use his Illustration work and sculptures to build up a world that others can hopefully find themselves lost in. Adam tries to include a sense of nostalgia in all of his work,  wanting the viewer to be transported back to when they were a child, to be reminded of the tales they were told, the wanderfull adventures they had and the worlds that they were taken to. 

The themes in his own stories are often simple but far from it to the character experiencing them. Adam enjoys putting an ordinary sort in an extraordinary situation or an extraordinary sort experiencing something extraordinarily ordinary. The stories that he focuses on are often a little dark and gloomy but it is the little elements of hope within these stories that capture his imagination.
