When we woke up to find snow we knew it was going to be a good day.

Little did we know the day was going to involve interstate and international friends, breakfast out at a lovely new little cafe, a flea market, a platter, champagne, homemade salmon carbonara, hours of dancing in a warehouse loft party, new friends, all topped off with an early-AM deli turkey sandwich (our first ever!).

Last year the shores and dancefloors of Australia were graced with Brainfeeder record label artists Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer, Thundercat and Ronald Bruner Jr. The Bookery Cook ladies had the pleasure of cooking dinner for the crew before their Brisbane show and the warehouse afterparty.

Equipped with a picnic basket full of homemade goodies (hot cross buns, dolmades, hummous and bread) we headed inland on the Sunshine Coast for a good old fashioned doof. In a tree house (see below). Much tree-house climbing, nook dancing (UK DJ Gravious featured), gin swigging fun was had.. with the delivery of a basket of home-made hot cross buns to party goers in the wee hours.
