When we woke up to find snow we knew it was going to be a good day.

Little did we know the day was going to involve interstate and international friends, breakfast out at a lovely new little cafe, a flea market, a platter, champagne, homemade salmon carbonara, hours of dancing in a warehouse loft party, new friends, all topped off with an early-AM deli turkey sandwich (our first ever!).

Last year the shores and dancefloors of Australia were graced with Brainfeeder record label artists Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer, Thundercat and Ronald Bruner Jr. The Bookery Cook ladies had the pleasure of cooking dinner for the crew before their Brisbane show and the warehouse afterparty.

Over the Easter weekend, we heard the call of the land, and the call of family friends’ combined 18t/21st/100th anniversary of their property, so took a 5 hour drive west to Moonie (about 350km west of Brisbane, Qld, Australia).
